Weeknight Garlic Butter Pasta

Overview
A fast, comforting pasta dish built on butter, garlic, and restraint.
Ingredients
- 200 g Dried pasta (spaghetti)
- 3 clove Garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp Unsalted butter (divided)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper (to taste)
- 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Tools
- Large pot — Stovetop, For boiling pasta
- Colander — Prep, For draining pasta
- Saucepan or sauté pan — Stovetop, For garlic butter sauce
- Wooden spoon — Utensils
Instructions
Boil pasta until al dente. Melt butter with garlic over low heat. Toss pasta with butter, pasta water, salt, and pepper. Finish with cheese if desired.
